Gourmet Chocolate & Wine Pairings 

February 9-February 24 

In celebration of Valentine's Day, we will be offering gourmet chocolates paired with our wine. All of the chocolates provided are handcrafted by Lake Michigan College's Culinary students.

Pairings: Choose 2 of the 3 pairings for $5 

- Raspberry puree bon bon, with notes of citrus paired with 2016 Wavelength White 

- Five spice and dark chocolate bon bon paired with 2015 Inaugural Red  or 2015 Riesling

-White chocolate and curry bon bon paired with 2015 Wavelength Red

Interested in enhancing your wine tasting ability and learning more about Michigan wine?

Lake Michigan College, Wine & Viticulture Technology Program Director, Michael Moyer will be leading a fun and educational wine class at our tasting room in downtown Baroda. Using samples of Lake Michigan Vintners wine, Michael will guide you through the basics of winemaking and the possible variations of style and flavor. Light snacks will also be provided.

Cost: $15/person

1 Year Anniversary Party

Lake Michigan Vintners is turning one! Join us for a day of celebrating, with two new wine releases-2017 Rosé (only 25 cases produced) and 2016 Pinot Noir (only 50 cases produced. We will also be offering 50% off tastings and a free logo glass for the first 100 guests. 

Lake & Farmer Food Truck will be serving up their deliciuos, farm to table fresh fare from 1-8pm.

Also, mother/son duo, Matt & Edie Lowe will be playing live music from 3pm-6pm.

Our Wine Club members will received a special thank you gift for attending our 1 Year Celebration!

Makers Trail Festival

Meet our makers on the beach at the 1st Annual Makers Trail Festival on Weko Beach!

Every land has its makers. Crafters of furniture. Forgers of steel. Tillers of the earth. In Southwest Michigan, ours are masters of making wine, beer and spirits. June 9, we’re bringing these Berrien County makers and their amazing craft beverages to Weko Beach -- one of the most spectacular festival beaches on Lake Michigan. 

• We’ll pop corks, tap kegs, mix and pour your picks from 1 p.m. to sunset. Here’s your chance to taste something new – then try another and another. Or, stick to drinking your local go-to favorites. Your DD can stay hydrated with lots of refreshing water, juices and sodas. 

• Dance or chill to your kind of music. We’ve stacked the lineup with some of the best music makers in the region. They’ll pump out tunes all festival long at no extra charge.

• Did we say you get in for $10? So, invite every friend and family member 21 or older to join you. 

• Free parking. Free shuttles. That’s right. No charge. Shuttles will run frequently so you can come and go all festival long. Park at any of these three convenient Bridgman, MI locations:

October 

The Art of Blending Competition 

Friday, October 19 @ 6:30pm

Have you ever wondered how and why winemakers craft their red blends in a certain fashion? If so, our Art of Blending Competition is the perfect event for you!

At the event, guests will be split into 4 teams, and each team will be tasked with creating their own masterful red, Bordeaux-style blend using various barrel samples. Each team will be "coached" by both Lake Michigan College Program Director, Michael Moyer and experienced Winemaker and Viticulturist, Mike de Schaaf. The winning blend will win a gift card to LM Vintners Tasting Room.

Light appetizers will be provided during the competition. Tasting is a must throughout the blending process, as you perfect your Bordeaux-style blend.

Cost:   $35/person for Wine Club Members

$40/person for Non Wine Club Members
